A former quarryman's cottage built in the 19th century and sympathetically modernised to provide a delightful cottage with stone fireplace and woodburner. The courtyard entrance to the cottages is adjacent to the delightful Quarryman Inn so in the evening you don't have to get in your car to have a quiet drink or a meal.
However, if you want an extensive choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs, the market town of Wadebridge is less than 2 miles away and the pretty port of Padstow, the home of Rick Stein's fish restaurant, is only 6 miles. You can hire a bike in Wadebridge to explore the Camel Trail between Padstow and Bodmin, sail from nearby Rock, horseride from one of the nearby stables or visit one of the other numerous nearby attractions such as the Eden Project.
GROUND FLOOR: Entrance door from communal courtyard into Kitchen/diner range of light oak units, pine table & six chairs, electric hob, extractor fan with light and built in oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery, iron, hoover, stairs to first floor Lounge area three seater settee (double sofa bed), two seater settee and one armchair, coffee table, TV, Freeview box, DVD player, CD player/streo radio, stone fireplace with woodburner, door to garden.
FIRST FLOOR: Landing Bed.1 - double bed (4'6") with views over countryside (hairdryer in room), Bed.2 - twin beds (2' 6") with view of courtyard. All bedrooms have pine beds, wardrobes, drawers and bedside unit(s) with radio alarm clocks. Bathroom - fully tiled, shower bath & glass screen with electric shower over, basin, w.c. , heated electric towel rail and extractor fan.
GARDEN & PARKING: Parking in the cottages' carpark immediately behind the open communal gardens. To the front communal courtyard, part of which has picnic benches for the adjacent Inn. To the rear open plan grassed communal garden with small concrete patio.
Changeover: Saturday in 3pm out 10am. Power and heat: electricity is provided by £1 coins in the slot meter, hot water is heated by an immersion heater, electric convector heaters in lounge, kitchen, bedrooms and heated electric towel rail in bathroom. Woodburner in lounge. Bedding and linen: duvets and pillows are provided, it is necessary for you to provide your own duvet covers, bed sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels. Telephone: call box in the Inn (20yds). Nearest shop: 0.5 miles (Tesco). Laundrette: 1 mile (Wadebridge).
Pets welcome: £15 per pet per week. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the cottage and must not be allowed on the beds or furniture, they must have their own bed or basket, feeding and water bowls.
